Confusion
December 21, 2021, 8:00 PM

It seems to me that we live in a time when we think we can save everything but ourselves. I Cor 14:33 “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. Instructs us that confusion is not from God. James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Many today have problems deciding what sex they are. They believe that someway they became trapped in the wrong body. They have trouble with the distinction between men and women. Should they marry the same sex or the opposite sex? It seems impossible for many to conclude as to when life begins. We therefore abort precious children while in the womb. Now the act is performed when the child is partially born.

It is not my place to judge or condemn them. However, my beliefs on these issues are settled by the Word of God. I make no apology for that. I do not hate those who differ with me. I do take issue with those who condemn me for my beliefs, then not expect me to condemn them for theirs.

Here is my problem. Those who cannot figure out when life begins, or how many sexes there are, or if marriage is between the opposite sex or the same sex, who believe they can save the planet! I watched a man who was a candidate for a high governmental position. When asked “Biologically, how many sexes are there?” He could or would not answer the question. Gracious me, I think I knew that by the third grade in school.

It would seem we need to fix ourselves before we can fix the planet. According to LifeNews.com, since 1973 sixty-two million, five hundred two thousand, nine hundred four (62,502,904) abortions have been performed in the U.S., and worldwide 1.72 billion. We cannot save children but somehow, we believe we can save the planet.

Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

One would think that our emphasis should be on saving humanity rather than the planet. It would seem God has the planet taken care of.

Man seems to have lost his idea of the Creator God and now believe the creature is God.
