(2 Thessalonians 2:7 -- 12) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
I am not sure we can grasp all the meaning of these verses. However, we are witnessing strange things in our world today. I wonder at times if I really have a grasp on reality. Have I lost my mind, or did I ever have a mind to lose?
Could you explain how a child in the mother’s womb can be aborted because it is only a clump of cells. However, if someone shoots a pregnant woman and she dies, the shooter is charged with double homicide? How could one be just a clump of cells and the other a human? I really can’t comprehend that! My wife had a miss carriage many years ago, and some how I believe I will see that child in heaven.
Tell me in what world are thieves permitted to go into shops and shoplift goods and law enforcement are not permitted to arrest them? If they are arrested the courts will not prosecute them. Somehow, I cannot see that as being a reality, but it is!
I can’t understand how corruption is honored in political circles and condemned in others. But it is! I do not understand how a family and political party would permit a man that does not know where he is, what he is doing to hold the office of president. But they do!
If I ever had a mind, I think I am loosing it!
