Which is the Longest Day?
That depends in what part of the world you live in. At New York, USA the longest day is fifteen hours; at Montreal, Canada it is sixteen hours; at London, England, and in Bremen, Prussia, it is sixteen and a half hours; at Hamburg, Germany it is seventeen hours; at Stockholm, Sweden, it is eighteen and a half hours; at St. Petersburg, Russia, it is nineteen hours; at Faroe, Finland, it is twenty-two hours; at Wardbury, Norway the longest day lasts for two months; at Spitzbergen for three and a half months; but in the New Jerusalem to which all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ are going, it lasts FOR EVER, for “There shall be no night there” ! (Rev. 21:25)
“And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.”
